A second public meeting was held this week, in the Angel Suite, attended by members of the public, traders and representatives of Brigg groups, societies, churches and organisations.
Town councillors Ben Nobbs (chairing the meeting), Sheila Boughey (taking the minutes) and Ann Eardley occupied the top table – suitably decorated with Union Flags to reflect the nature of the community forum.
A great deal of progress was made and the meeting concluded by electing officials to form a Jubilee Committee – necessary if funding it to be applied for from various sources.
Elected were: Chairman – Coun Ben Nobbs; Secretary - Coun Sheila Boughey; Treasurer - Sandy Andrews; Other Committee Members - Sarah Angel, Coun Jane Kitching, Coun Ann Eardley, Coun Rob Waltham.
The next meeting will be open to anyone and any group wishing to get involved.
It will be on Wednesday 29th February at 7.30pm at The Angel.

ReportPS The little plastic flag, probably made in the Far-East, shows the manner in which in Union Flag should be flown.
