Olympic Torch Relay signs have suddenly appeared along part of the route through Brigg.
-
A nice sign...
-
....and even a nisa sign!
-
Wrawby is now festooned with signs - there are 3 in this snap..
Two were spied in the Market Place; the one attached to the famous bandstand indicating that it was a reserved site for disabled folk.
Two more were seen amongst the trees' lush verdant leaves in Queen St.
Wrawby St was devoid of signs - perhaps they'll be put up tomorrow.....and none have been put up in Wrawby - perhaps someone has forgoitten that the village is actuially on the route.

of note according to scunny tele there resriting the numbers of pupils able to go see the torch in brigg the torch arrive's just when they leave so all those who have to travel by bus be aloud to stay to watch or will the bus'es try/leave on time.

ReportOn the serious side, everredy's observation does show a weakness in the organisational forehought.
As everredy indicates, the carer's pushing wheelchair folks will have to tackle a rather steep gradient - perhaps not too bad going downhill, but a somewhat ardous push uphill aferwards.
Hopefull, NLC will resolve the problem - there's still time.

ReportT.I.C - we could have a wheelchair race down the hill as part of the entertainment, everredy - but we'd need one of those 'T'-bar ski tows to pull the competitors back up the hill.
I expect that participants would need a bit of Dutch courage...
We could call the event, the Wheely Wrawby Race - an anagram os which is -
New Beery Crawlway!!

Report@ everredy, ten out of ten for observation there. Not very thoughtful of the authorities yet again. The carers will have a long push from say Vicarage Road, and then have to contend with a sloping site at their destination. Nil out of ten to the organisers. This sort of planning is farcical.
